  I had dinner during the week and lunch today both were exelent well priced meals . The new Chef is doing a great job. I would recommend dropping by and enjoying a meal next time you are in Esk . The deck is a fantastic place to sit and relax .

  After a few hrs driving from Bellmere Qld to collect my daughter in Esk Qld from her grandparents who had traveled from Toowoomba Qld we were pretty hungry and in need of a bit of relaxation before our trip home and so were they. We looked around a few places and found a couple of cafes that seemed a little steep .We made our way over to the Esk Grand hotel and were instantly impressed by the family friendly environment and a definite oasis from the heat.The restaurant was opening in half an hour so we ordered some drinks from the bar they were well priced and cold .The patrons of the hotel a mix of locals and contractors were very friendly as was the owner who kept us up to date with the cricket scores throughout a tight final ashes test . The menus were easy to order from my kids meals were ready in less than 10 minutes which kept them happy and quiet which was nice after a few hours in the car as any parents here can probably appreciate.Four adult main course meals were ready 10-15 min later .Everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meal and the staff and service excellent .Would definitely recommend to the weiry traveler or anybody looking for a top notch affordable meal.
